Funny People is a 2009 United States comedy-drama film, written, co-produced, and directed by Judd Apatow, and starring Adam Sandler and Seth Rogen as stand-up comedians. The film is scheduled for release on July 31, 2009, and will implement more dramatic elements than seen in Apatow's previous films.
